Tolerance is important in England because we listen to each other’s ideas, unlike in some other countries. We don’t just think about ourselves, we think about others. That is why tolerance is important in England.
This means that a country is governed in a certain way. If this value was not a British Value then stealing wouldn’t be against the law.
Individual liberty is a British value which lets you speak without any government control over you. This is good because people can say what they think rather than being imprisoned.
Tolerance means you can put up with something you dislike.
Mutual respect is an outstanding British Value. It brings people two people together because they share the same interests. It also links to football when two teams are enemies but they respect each other because they both love football!
Tolerance is important because you want to stay friends with your friend and it may hurt their feelings if you are not tolerant.
Mutual respect is when you respect everyone.
You don’t judge people by their colour.
You don’t judge people by their gender.
You don’t judge people by their religion.
Whoever possesses the ability of tolerance has a very easy life and enjoys life too. Sadly, it is a struggle for the others who never tolerate other people’s opinions and beliefs.
