Hi Alfie – I hope you enjoy this preview of the song, but please do not share. This demo features young voices typical of my Everycolour choirs – watch us open the the 2018 NW Football Awards.
One, two, three – all together now!
Chorus
Everton – nil satis nisi optimum
Everton – the Grand Old Team from Goodison
Everton – yes, we are E-ver-ton!
Verse 1
From day one to this one
We’ve been making football history
Applying the science
To be the best that we can be
When all is played and done
We are Everton!
Chorus
Verse 2
A footballing fam’ly
Our roots are in community
We change lives, we save lives –
The People’s Club for you and me
When all is played and done
We are Everton!
Chorus
Middle section
Nothing but the best is good enough
Whether times are great or times are tough
Toffees always stick together
‘Cos we are Everton!
Once this club has touched you with its heart
You will know what makes it stand apart
Wear the shirt and badge with pride
‘Cos we’re the Blues of Merseyside
Chorus
Everton – nil satis nisi optimum
Everton – the Grand Old Team from Goodison
Everton – yes we are Ever, Ever, Ever, Foreverton!
